Festival/Permanenza di danza contemporanea

In the three-year period 2022-2024 Ticino in Danza renews its format by experimenting with new types of encounters between artists and with the audience.
TiD intends to be a malleable container sensitive to contemporary artistic processes and to the possible modalities of fruition of those who receive and stand at the other end of artistic creation.

The intention is to explore the multiple ways of encounter that can arise through fluid and sensitive cultural initiatives. The nature of the Festival is in fact itinerant in order to place at the centre the crossing of different territories and to create a constellation of experiences that, with movement, speak of the territory. Being able to place itself in different contexts with different forms, is a property that allows this form of dance to flow between the various natural and social landscapes, leaving a trace of itself in synergy with what is already active in those various places. The participatory matrix makes this program of events a source of encounters, stories, experiences and new socio-cultural contaminations.
